The sea-facing terrace has sun loungers for sunbaking, reading or simply gazing at the Caribbean. And the terrace leads to a unique infinity edge pool, just for Portobello Villa guests. There’s a table tennis table and outdoor exercise area for those who like to stay active on holiday. Contemporary finishes and clean lines only enhance the spaciousness of the fully air-conditioned property. Dine under the sun or stars in the alfresco dining area.

The fully equipped bar makes it easy to sip a sundowner in the alfresco lounge while watching the sunset. Play a game of chess on the breezy, shady terrace, or relax on the day bed which boasts a stunning view of Batts Rock Bay. It may be difficult to leave your oasis but taking a stroll to the beachfront restaurant of La Cabane to dine is also recommended.

The villa is surrounded by a half-acre of gardens featuring indigenous palms, lilies, bougainvillea, and many flowering shrubs.

Atelier House has 4 spacious bedrooms. The upstairs master suite has a glazed balcony with views over the sea and a covered outdoor terrace for relaxing; the ensuite bathroom features separate bath and shower facilities. This grand Spanish influenced one story villa is perfect for those who enjoy outdoor living, entertaining and unobstructed sea views. Shangri-La is set among lush tropical plants and boasts a large swimming pool featuring a sun bathing patio. All throughout, a classic sense of timeless luxury abounds with coral, marble and colonial details.

Shangri-La was purposely built on one level to create a spacious Spanish style villa that can comfortably accommodate up to eight people. The property is especially great for nature lovers given the panoramic views of the Caribbean sea, pool and palm trees. At night, the experience is enchanting and memorable with warm breezy air and star-filled skies.

The home is equipped with a full media room outfitted with an LCD flat screen television, Blueray/DVD player and stereo, all installed in a custom designed cabinet. A collection of videos, DVDs and CDs, as well as games and cards are also provided. The villa has four en suite bedrooms; each air-conditioned and professionally decorated. The bedrooms are named in accordance with the décor: The White Room, The Polo Room, The Princess Margaret Room and The Master Bedroom.

Great Room

As you pass through double doors flanked by bronze pineapple sconces, you enter the Grand Salon, Sala Manjer. Crystal Versailles chandeliers at either end of the room elegantly illuminate a tray ceiling. To one side, there is a seated living area with comfortable sofas and lounge chairs. French doors lead to an adjacent gazebo with a soothing fountain. On the opposite side of the room is the dinning area, with a mirrored buffet used for elegant dinners and afternoon English tea. A plantation style desk unites these areas, allowing guests to enjoy the trade winds and the Caribbean Sea beyond.

The Courtyard

Large Mahogany louvered doors open onto the loggia and courtyard. The furnishings include upholstered sofas, chairs and a dining table. Ceiling fans with chandelier lights suggest the Colonial period. The focal point of the courtyard is a three tiered coral stone fountain with carved dolphins. From there, you pass through gates leading to a patio surrounding the lofty swimming pool. Sofas, chairs, loungers, and sun umbrellas are found throughout the pool area for ultimate comfort.

Kitchen

The kitchen is to the side of the house, adjacent to the media room, butlers pantry, and dinning area. On either side there are large work counters with a granite-topped centre island. There is a large refrigerator with an ice maker, full laundry room with washer and dryer, maid's quarters and an herb garden.

Media Room

The media room/bar is outfitted with an LCD flatscreen television, Blu-ray/DVD player, stereo and CD player. There is ample seating with an upholstered sectional sofa and chairs. A collection of videos, DVDs and CDs, as well as games and cards are provided. This room has a large bar suitable for cocktails and conversation, with an adjacent powder room for your convenience.

The Bedrooms

The White Room, which is adjacent to the media room, has a queen size bed festooned with white sheers. Tropical bedside tables and a colonial mahogany desk and chair complete the interior.

The Polo Room contains two twin beds, side tables, a spacious armoire and a large bureau. The decor is decidedly polo themed. Mahogany pocket doors open to the garden and pool with an exquisite view to the sea. This room has an LCD flatscreen television with a DVD player and stereo. These two bedrooms are located in the south wing of the house, and share a crema Marfil marble bathroom.

In the north wing of the villa, there are two adjacent bedrooms with a centre hall. The Princess Margaret Room is outfitted with two canopy twin beds, a flatscreen LCD television and a DVD player. There is a private ensuite bath with marble counters, floor, and shower, all highlighted with gold fittings. Skylights bring sunlight into the room during the day, and the moon and stars at night. This royal room dedicated to Princess Margaret also opens into a private Gazebo.

The Master Bedroom provides a queen size canopy bed with a carved Indian-inspired headboard, along with large bamboo side tables and upholstered wing back chairs - all of which give this room an international flair.

This impressive community comes complete with a large and private club house with communal swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sun loungers and umbrellas and the community also includes a tennis court, extensive gardens, security gate and night guards as well as full time management and concierge support.

One Battaleys Mews is a privately owned 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bathroom villa in this well kept gated community. The two-storey home with private parking for 2 cars just by the entrance, leads you to the nicely furnished and inviting open concept living and dining room on the ground floor. The living/dining room affords a light comfortable ambience with its white and nude furnishings including a sectional sofa, coffee table, dark brown TV with accompanying flat screen TV with Apple TV, cable and Play Station 4 and dining table with seating for up to 8 persons. Just past the doule doors is the personal covered terrace with a plunge pool and garden area. Also situated on the ground floor is the equipped kitchen fitted with a stove top with hub, oven, microwave and other essential pieces.

All bedrooms are situated on the first floor with the Master bedroom affording a private en suite bathroom with both a tub and shower plus a private balcony. The other two guest bedrooms share a bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Battaleys Mews is ideally located between Holetown and Speightstown, both areas offer super markets, duty free shopping, boutique stores, banks, post offices, bars and restaurants. Whilst Holetown offers a more modern and vibrant life style and has the designer Limegrove shopping centre and cinema at its centre, Historic Speightstown offers a more relaxed Caribbean experience with local bars, restaurants and shopping. The popular Mullins Beach is just a short walk away and remains a favourite spot on the island with its restaurant, sunbeds and umbrellas, watersports and safe swimming. Golf at Apes Hill, Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane are just a short drive away, as are the wonderful beaches of Gibbs Bay, Paynes Bay, Port St. Charles and Glitter Bay.
