Description

Beachfront and Private

Park Bay House is a stunning beachfront villa, private yet accessible, with a great rental history. Occupying the headland of Park Bay, with over 400 feet of ocean frontage, the property’s unobstructed views will never be compromised.

Endless Reef and Ocean Views

Right in front of the house dramatic waves break over the offshore reef, and the neighboring Grenadine islands dot the horizon. To the rear, the grounds border hundreds of acres of undeveloped land, with trails running through bay-tree forests along the northern coast of Bequia. You’ll enjoy the soothing sounds of breaking waves and the trade winds blowing through the trees.

Park Bay House offers all this privacy without being isolated: an easy ten-minute drive takes you to the restaurants and stores in town, and one of the finest restaurants on the island is just a short walk from the house.

Expansive Grounds with Potential for Boat Access

The large beachfront grounds provide plenty of room for expansion, with boat access available along the shore. Its elevated site on the headland of Park Bay gives you the immediacy of the ocean and beach while ensuring that the property can weather any storm.

Surfing & Kiteboarding

This location is a favored spot for kite boarding and surfing.

Uniquely Private Retreat

Located on the east side of the island, the property is part of the historic Park Estate. Just inside the shaded entry gate lie the ruins of a sugar mill, whose impressive remains testify to the area’s long history. The many fragments of pre-Columbian pottery found along the beach speak of an even older past, as do the ancient trails that wind through the surrounding woodlands.

Embracing Nature

Park Bay House makes the most of its enchanting environment. The spacious rear courtyard, built from native stone, has a raised dining and barbecue area shaded by a beautiful hardwood arbor. The surrounding garden area is relaxing and sheltered, with a hammock strung under mature trees and the hushed sounds of the ocean waves.

Stunning Views

Both upper and lower floors have oceanfront verandas that provide stunning views of Park Bay and the neighboring islands of Mustique, Baliceaux and Battowia. The upstairs veranda wraps around the side of the house, offering both sun and shade during the day and fantastic stargazing at night under delightfully dark skies.

Large, Comfortable Living Space

Inside the house the views continue, with every window opening onto a unique and private vista. In the upstairs living room louvered wooden doors open onto the expansive verandah facing the sea, giving the main living space an open, airy feel. The tropical hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and an open kitchen area with breakfast bar keep the space lively and comfortable.

The large master bedroom is light and airy with gorgeous sea views. There is an antique hand-carved mahogany king bed, en-suite bath and a side door that opens onto the front porch. The upstairs second bedroom faces the rear patio, with two antique wooden twin beds and access to the second bathroom.

Sleeping Alcove Facing the Sea

The downstairs has a large living room with tiled floors. Wooden doors along the entire front wall open onto a comfortable shaded porch facing the sea.
There are two bedrooms downstairs: one with two lounging areas and a sleeping alcove with a queen bed that faces the sea, and another bedroom facing the patio with two twin beds. A bathroom off the hallway completes the private and comfortable downstairs accommodations.

Protected Beach and Great Snorkeling

Family-friendly Park Beach is located just outside the front gate of the house, with sandy tide pools and calm waters perfect for children. Steps from the front door is the expanse of Park Bay, with calm water deep enough to swim but shallow enough to wade around the large sandy areas, and great snorkeling right off the shore. A few minutes' walk away is picturesque Industry Bay, with its stunning crescent beach, wooded headlands and fine dining.

At the Heart of The Grenadines

Park Bay House is perfectly placed to enjoy the excellent sailing and diving of the Grenadines - Mustique, the Tobago Cays and the tropical coast of Saint Vincent are easily explored from the property. The addition of a mooring in the bay would enable easy boat access for the ultimate in island freedom.

Park Bay House is a wonderful beach house escape - a refreshing coastal property with great character, right on the water's edge. Breathtaking natural views surround you, along with a steady breeze and the sound of the ocean waves.
